HOW TO OBJECT

It is most important that objections to S36 applications are sent to both Highland Council and the Government
(see details below)

How to object to the Council
(link to Council instruction page)

Details of all current applications can be found in the eplanning section of the Highland Council website or by selecting the name of the windfarm you wish to comment on from the list on the left and clicking on it. This will take you to that windfarm's section below where the underlined windfarm names are links to that application's page.

You can either
use their online form in eplanning via the Make a Comment link which is now under the Comments tab

or email eplanning@highland.gov.uk

or post to
ePlanning Centre
The Highland Council
Glenurquhart Road
INVERNESS
IV3 5NX

quoting the windfarm name and application ref.no.

Section 36 application objections should also be sent to the Scottish Government by emailing representations@gov.scot

or post to
Energy Consents and Deployment Unit
4th Floor, Atlantic Quay
150 Broomielaw
GLASGOW
G2 8LU

List of Material Planning Considerations - see p.17

List of dates when current applications are due to be determined

Please note - only full applications, i.e. those with FUL or S36 in the ref., can be commented on. All others (SCOP, SCRE, PNO) should be treated as advance warning.
